Nearly three decades ago in Gaiole in Chianti, classic cycling was presented as a true return to the roots of a sport that has spanned generations, wars, and rebirth. From a humble beginning, a magnificent tree has grown, now encompassing three world-renowned events: L’Eroica, Eroica Montalcino, and Nova Eroica, each offering a unique experience that immerses participants in the soul of these extraordinary places.
The legendary "strade bianche" (white roads), made famous by L’Eroica around the world, wind through breathtaking landscapes, the vineyards of Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino, the artistic and cultural richness of Siena, and the charming villages of the Crete Senesi and Val d’Orcia.
Thanks to the ambitious Terra Eroica project, the heroic spirit can now be experienced not just on event days. The two Permanent Eroica Routes allow cyclists to embark on a 290-kilometer journey of adventure and beauty year-round.
During L’Eroica in Gaiole in Chianti, Terra Eroica joins forces with Bike Channel, the television channel dedicated to cycling in all its forms, from professional men's and women's racing to amateur cycling. In a welcoming lounge, there will be interviews with supporting partners, hospitality moments, and dedicated initiatives.
“Terra Eroica & Bike Channel Lounge” will be the go-to spot for those who want to learn more about the heroic routes and the unique beauty that defines them. Visitors can receive detailed information on the permanent routes and initiatives related to the project, directly engaging with those who work to enhance and promote this unique territory.
During the Gaiole in Chianti event, the space will also offer the opportunity to purchase special hospitality packages for the 2025 Eroica Montalcino event. This initiative not only promotes the heroic routes but also allows cyclists to plan their future adventures, ensuring a unique, complete, and immersive experience where the bicycle remains at the heart of the journey.
