Buonconvento is a municipality in the province of Siena in Tuscany. It rises in the Ombrone Valley, at the mouth of the Arbia river in the Ombrone river at the 200 kilometer mark of the Cassia.

Together with the municipalities of Asciano, Montalcino, Monteroni d'Arbia, Rapolano Terme and Trequanda it forms the district of the Crete Senesi. It is part of the circuit of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
