La belleza de fatiga y el sabor de la aventura

The XXVII edition of L'Eroica, in addition to celebrating vintage cycling, dedicates a special day to the little ones. On Friday, October 4th, 2024, the day before the start of the first routes, children will be the real protagonists.

The village will offer activities like Mini Eroica and Giocociclismo, designed to introduce them to the world of cycling in a fun and safe way.

Mini Eroica

On Friday, October 4th, the Mini Eroica will give children the opportunity to experience the thrill of a real bike ride through the charming streets of Gaiole in Chianti, soaking up the unique atmosphere of L'Eroica.

  • 11:00 AM: Registrations - Via Ferrucci
  • 2:45 PM: Meeting point at the Luciano Berruti Monument
  • 3:00 PM: Start of the bike ride for children

Participants will be accompanied by specialized technicians from the Italian Cycling Federation and will have access to bicycles (MTB and road bikes) and helmets provided by the organizers. Registration is free and includes insurance coverage. All children will receive a participation medal and a mini race kit.

Giocociclismo

From 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, children can enjoy the Giocociclismo course set up at the FCI space in collaboration with ACSI, Pedale Senese, Siena Bike, and Tuscany Go. The activity is open to children of all ages, from beginners to more experienced riders.

The educational course, equipped with artificial obstacles and slaloms, will help children improve their cycling skills while learning the basic rules of road safety. It will be a perfect opportunity to socialize with peers from local cycling clubs and discover the joy of riding a bike.

A unique opportunity

This day dedicated to children is a unique opportunity to introduce them to the world of cycling in a playful and educational way. It’s a blend of sport, education, and fun, promoting the values of environmental respect and road safety.
